ACRYLIC POUR PAINT with National Artist Paula Jo Miller

Come Learn the hottest trend in painting with Colorado artist Paula Jo Miller. Acrylic pouring uses a specific mix of mediums and acrylics to develop a fluid paint that you can pour and manipulate directly onto your canvas. In this workshop, we’ll play with a variety of pouring techniques and learn how to mix mediums to achieve the fluid state you want. Then you’ll create unique poured paintings. The process is fascinating, and you will feel like an artist when you create! No art experience necessary. Remember don’t wear your finest threads or shoes for this class. Class size is limited.

Grab your mom, daughter, cousins or best friends and join us for an evening of jewelry magic. No art experience necessary to create these pretty little treasures. Each student makes 2 necklaces. Mosaic artist Meryl Weber guides you on the “how to” of putting together your original pieces of art that can then be worn and admired. A fun engaging evening of art for all. Ages 12 and up.
MOSAIC MIRRORS or PICTURE FRAMES

Spent an evening creating a one-of-a kid mosaic mirror or picture frame. Mosaic Artist Meryl Weber guides students in this fun one-night art project. Students will choose from an array of tiles, objects, glass and metal - colors and sizes- then learn how to arrange and apply mosaic pieces to wood. No art experience necessary. These framed treasures make lovely personal gifts for friends and family. Class size limited. Open to teens 12 and older.

Come create simple and beautiful watercolor images. Coined "minis" because of their 4"x 4" size, students will learn easy techniques to make several original pieces that can be made into gorgeous frame-able art. Instructor: Caroline Davila. WRITING CIRCLE FOR CHILDREN'S BOOK WRITERS
Wednesdays | 6:00-8:00 | 6-week session | May 15, 22, 29. June 12, 19, 26. No class June 5th
New writers may join the critique group at any point in the series if spots are available.
Do you have a story for the children's book market? Want feedback from other writers in the industry to help determine if your work is ready? Join local children's book writers for critiques, industry discussions, and inspiration. This on-going critique group is for picture book, middle grade, and young adult authors who are seriously seeking publication. Participants should have full PB manuscripts or W-I-P MG or YA manuscripts. Not ideal for new writers. Critique Host: Kathleen Fox
