Artist and Jewelry Maker Karen Hakim-Butt leads this entertaining intensive workshop where students will learn to make beautiful jewelry from metal clay. Each piece is created by the student. Come to CAMP and explore your creative side with this entertaining no-pressure introduction to art (or come to simply step-up your creative process). This follow-up acrylic studio to Beth Melton-Seabrook’s popular beginning acrylics class offers students the chance to put their new painting skills to practice. Students work on independent projects with Beth’s guidance. It’s an easy-going learning environment filled with fun and friends. All supplies are provided, but students are welcomed to bring in any materials they’d prefer to use. Come with an image you’d like to paint or a work-in-progress.

Whether you paint in acrylic or oil, this class is great for beginners as well as experienced painters who want to take it to the next level. Do you have a story for the children's book market? Want feedback from other writers in the industry to help determine if your work is ready? Join local children's book writers for critiques, industry discussions, and inspiration. This on-going critique group is for picture book, middle grade, and young adult authors who are seriously seeking publication.
