LATE SUMMER & FALL 2017 ADULT CLASSES

Come create simple and beautiful watercolor images. Coined "minis" because of their 4"x 4" size, students will learn easy techniques to make several original pieces that can be made into gorgeous frame-able art, given as holiday gifts, or produced into one-of-a kind cards. Using vintage medical boxes as frames, you'll create two watercolor scenes that fit perfectly into each side of your box. A gorgeous gift to give anyone - or ... a lovely way to treat yourself. Instructor: Caroline Davila. Limited to only 6 students. Boxes and all materials are included.
DRAWING FOR ADULTS

We're fond of saying at CAMP - you must know the rules, before you can break them. Most art relies on drawing principles so come spend Monday evenings with instructor, Kristen Solecki, and fine-tune your drawing skills. An array of techniques and tools are provided to help you develop or enhance your artistic style. Drawing experience preferred, but not necessary. Students work at their own level of expertise with guidance from the instructor.

Creativity doesn’t sleep. Fill your coffee mug and come join us early risers. Each week we’ll kick-start our creativity with a unique project, talk shop, and connect with like-minded creative thinkers. This class is to get adults to learn how "to play again" and by doing so, learn to create new art, enhance their current art, or just have a fun time. All supplies are included. ART FOR LATE BLOOMERS

Come to CAMP and explore your creative side with this entertaining no-pressure introduction to art. PITCH & QUERY WORKSHOP FOR WRITERS

You’ve completed your stellar manuscript, now you just need to entice someone to read it! Your next step is writing a killer query and pitch. In this hands-on workshop we’ll work to perfect pitches and queries. Bring your drafts with you! We’ll also discuss the market and the resources available online and elsewhere to help you secure a home for your manuscripts. Instructor: Kami Kinard. Limited space.

6 Week Hand building Clay Class
Using stoneware clay students will learn basic techniques of hand building clay to create both functional and sculptural pieces. Coil, slab building and surface design techniques will be covered. PRINTMAKING WITH KRISTEN SOLECKI (Adults)
