PITCH PERFECT for WRITERS
Thursday | June 28th | 6:00-8:00
But have you ever practiced writing an elevator pitch?
Most people will answer NO. Instead, they frantically throw something together right before they must submit to a contest or agent. And they get so bogged down in the details of their story, they lose track of what’s important.
In this workshop, Jocelyn Rish will break down the components of the elevator pitch, and then we'll practice each part with fun prompts so you don't have the pressure of your own story weighing you down. Finally, we'll craft and refine pitches for our own stories.
You’ll go from dreading the pitch writing process to popping out powerful pitches that grab people’s attention.
